I woke up feeling super excited about Christmas today. Christmas is almost here. Just a few days and we would all be celebrating Christmas! Christmas is my favourite holiday season and I never get tired of saying this. I am super excited for Christmas and like I said before Christmas is almost here. The closer it is getting to Christmas, the more excited I am. I literally can't wait for Christmas lol so I decided to share some things that always make me look forward to Christmas! 2020 has been quite a year for us all and Christmas might be a little different this year but we shouldn't let that stop us from having fun and rocking Christmas!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME LOOK FORWARD TO CHRISTMAS

THE FOOD

Oh! I love food and Christmas food is even better! For me, the 2nd best thing about Christmas is the food! Christmas offers a wide range of delicious food and delicacies. No season offers such a wide range of food and delicacies and this is one of the main reasons I look forward to Christmas!

THE BREAK

I am a very busy person. Talk about juggling being a student with blogging, counselling, and freelancing, that's me! I am always very busy throughout the year but one of the reasons I look forward to Christmas is because Christmas gives the opportunity to take a break, unwind and relax for a bit! Christmas is one of the best times to relax and chill out and I love Christmas for that!

CHRISTMAS MOVIES

I love watching Christmas movies. There's this really chill feeling of happiness I get when I watch Christmas movies. Christmas movies are bae! This year I made a long list of Christmas movies I am going to watch and I have been loving it!

CHRISTMAS DECORS

Christmas decors are so magical! I love Christmas decorations and Christmas without Christmas decors is an incomplete Christmas. I mean who wouldn't like putting up the decors? Putting up the Christmas decors, the Christmas tree, Christmas lights, and all is fun. Putting up the Christmas decors always raises my spirit and putting up the Christmas decors puts me in a festive mood. 

BEING ABLE TO SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Christmas brings us together. I personally love spending time with family and friends and Christmas gives the opportunity to do just that! Christmas brings us closer to family and friends, it helps us appreciate the little things we take for granted and it helps us bond more with our family and friends. For me, being able to spend quality time with family and friends while enjoying the festive period is the best thing about Christmas.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS

I always look forward to giving and receiving gifts during Christmas. I love the suspense that comes with receiving Christmas gifts from people and I also love the process of finding the best and most suitable gifts for people. I love going to the mall and getting someone a Christmas gift I know they'll absolutely love. Giving and receiving gifts during Christmas makes me really happy and I'm sure it does make everyone happy too!

    I think it’s the break I’m looking forward to the most, working in a school has been really tough the last few months so I need a rest more than I’ve ever done before x

I don't know why I wasn't as excited for 2021 as I always am for every new year but I decided that I won't start this year on a bad note.
